Continente supermarkets are planning to purchase 18 million kilos of Algarve oranges in 2022, a 10% year-on-year increase.
“Every orange sold at Continente, including the oranges at the ‘squeeze-your-own-juice’ machines as well as the oranges used to make fresh juice at the Bagga cafés, is grown in the Algarve and hand-picked at its optimal consumption stage,” said the supermarket chain.
