Gallery || A collection of art works from various award-winning and acclaimed artists will be on display until September 1 at the Vale do Lobo Art Gallery.
Entitled “Entrada de Festa”, the exhibition features a selection of paintings, photographs and sculptures inspired by modern and contemporary art to mark the start of the summer season.
The art pieces were developed by a group of national and international artists, including Gonzalez Bravo, Benedita Kendall, Ana Maria, João Cristóvão, Catarina Pinto Leite, Jean Pierre Porcher, Nuno Santiago, Joh, Ana Pais Oliveira, Alexandre Manuel, Gil Maia, Nuno Santiago, Miguel Ponticú and Ana Séri.
Organisers say that the exhibition “brings together some of the best examples of modern art for one spectacular collective exhibition and invites guests to become captivated by the different styles, approaches and artistic interpretations of the leading artists on show.”
Entrance to the exhibition – a joint venture with the famous Lisbon and Porto São Mamede Gallery – is free.
It is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm.
