The year-on-year rate of change of Portugal’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) is estimated to have risen to 9.3% in September – its highest rate since October 1992 – from 8.9% in August, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said on Friday.
According to the flash estimate released by the institute, “based on information already available, the year-on-year rate of change of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 9.3% in September, up 0.4 percentage points from the previous month and the highest rate since October 1992.”
