PORTIMÃO’S ZONA Ribeirinha, by the waterfront, is the setting for the sixth edition of Algarve Construção – Feira das Actividades de Construção Civil e Afins, and the second edition of ArtCasa – Feira do Mobiliário, Decoração e Artigos para a Casa. The joint event, currently taking place until April 2, showcases businesses in the civil construction industry and connected sectors, as well as companies offering the latest furniture designs, décor and soft furnishings for the home.
Such events are usually held at Portimão’s Parque de Feiras e Exposições, however, due to building work taking place there, the venue has had to be changed. Despite this, organisers Alentexpo and Portimão Câmara believe the new location and its scenic setting add value to the event.
More than 100 exhibitors are taking part in the construction exhibition and 25 in the home decoration event. The fair is the biggest of its kind south of River Tejo and an important event for those interested in knowing the latest trends and products in the construction and home furnishing industries.
• The exhibition is open to the public from 3pm until 10pm daily.
