Constraints in Hospital de São Francisco Xavier as floodwaters stream into basement floors

The flooding in low-lying areas of Greater Lisbon today have also caused constraints in Hospital São Francisco Xavier. The basement floors (levels 0 and -1) have been flooded, while the lifts have stopped working. Explain reports, it has been “impossible” to transfer bedridden patients who need exams to other floors of the hospital.
