An Algarve PSD MP is calling for the construction of a road connecting the Tunes-Messines road to the IC1.
In a document sent to the government, Mendes Bota asks if Estradas de Portugal has plans to build a connecting road from the “economically wealthy and productive area of Foral”, between S. Bartolomeu de Messines and Tunes, to the IC1.
The MP says the municipality of Silves has been pushing for this road project to be developed for the past 20 years. The Foral area is rich in agricultural land and has high export potential.
