The huge fire that broke out earlier this Wednesday morning (February 12) at a Conforama warehouse in Vila Nova de Gaia is now under control.
While authorities cannot yet assess the damage caused to the home/furniture store’s warehouse, they confirmed that no one was hurt.
“We are making our way to the heart of the warehouse. It is the only way we can check the inside area of the building and figure out how to put out the fire completely,” said the Commanding Officer of the Vila Nova de Gaia Sapadores fire service.
The cause of the fire is as yet unknown.
