Portuguese Helena Costa was officially presented as the manager of the male football team of Clermont Foot, currently in France’s Ligue 2, on Thursday (May 22).
Costa, the first woman to coach a professional men’s football team in Europe, exuded confidence during her presentation and said she wanted to be judged to the same standards of men.
Despite acknowledging that “the club is not rich”, she said her goal is to “win with Clermont”.
