THE PORTUGUESE Chamber of Commerce is holding its second annual conference on Portuguese Property and Residential Tourism on April 10 in London.
This event is the premier opportunity for all professionals concerned with international property developing and planning, to learn about recent changes and to network.
His Excellency the Portuguese Ambassador, Fernando Andresen-Guimarães will open the conference, which will be chaired by Constantino Jordan of Lusotur Golfes. Speakers will include well-known industry figures and representatives of the Portuguese government.
Programme topics will include: The Developer’s Choices, Mortgage Brokers and Financiers, Legal and Tax Changes, A Regional Study of the Silver Coast, An Investors View, Valuations – How much Is It Worth and Why, and Media Studies for Property Developers. After the conference, there will be a cocktail reception sponsored by Banco Santander Totta.
Last year’s conference, which took place at the Portuguese Embassy in Belgrave Square, was so successful that the decision has been made to move the venue to the offices of Withers LLP in London, UK, where there is a purpose built auditorium and space to accommodate more delegates.
John Newgas, the Chief Executive of the Portuguese Chamber, said: “Property in Portugal is a hot topic and this conference provides information and a networking opportunity for contacts which cannot be found elsewhere. The attendance figures confirm that this is an essential diary date for those in the field.”
