Students at the Eastern Algarve International School received multi-media personal computers from parents working within Newlyn Developments, Barclays Bank Tavira, Escritória de Avogados, Happy Homes Tavira and other computer items from Manor Park Properties.
Ron Trevor, Head of ICT at the school said: “This donation means that we can embed the use of ICT in all our classes across the curriculum, giving our students access to the latest in digital learning materials and the internet.”
Robert Bijker of Happy Homes said: “The gift of these computers is a fine example of the way local businesses can support our children as they prepare for their future.”
