Around 250 residents of the Companheira area in Portimão are threatening to boycott upcoming local elections if the council does not fix the area’s dangerously pothole-ridden roads.
A petition signed by protesters has been delivered to the council, says Correio da Manhã. Portimão has already carried out minor improvements and stresses that a tender for definitive renovations is due to be launched this week.
