A seminar on crime prevention and community safety is being organised by Safe Communities Algarve (SCA), in conjunction with the GNR, on February 13 at the São Brás Museum from 4pm to 6pm.
Speakers will be Captain Edgar Palma, Commander of the GNR Faro whose overall responsibility includes São Bras, a representative from the Civil Protection Authority, and David Thomas from SCA. São Brás Mayor António Eusébio will also be attending.
The event will include topics such as local crime trends and patterns in the area, household protection, the Safe Residence Programme, reporting crime and suspicious activities, the ‘My GNR’ initiative, the work of SCA, community safety and forest fire protection.
Everyone is welcome to attend the free event in English.
