Community in shock as 28-year old dies chasing cat

A Porto community is in shock this week after a young resident suffered a fatal fall in pursuit of his cat. White tortoiseshell “Penji” had strayed into an empty building alongside André Figueiredo’s apartment block in São Lázaro.
Anxious to get her back, Figueiredo (28) followed, but the roof gave way and he fell eight metres to his death in full view of horrified passers-by.
