Comeback

Former world No1 Rafael Nadal played his first competitive tournament since his second round exit at Wimbledon last year, in Chile last week. The 26-year-old Spaniard showed glimpses of his old form on the way to reaching the final of the ATP Challenger event before going down 7-6, 6-7, 4-6 to Argentina’s Horacio Zeballos.
