Combined Interpol/ Europol operation seized more than 300,000 tins of fish paste in Portugal

Interpol and Europol police have announced that an operation in 61 countries has succeeded in seizing millions of litres of “dangerous products” and “thousands of tons” of dangerous foods. Among the foods were 311,000 tons of fish paste, apprehended in Portugal reports Lusa. According to Agence France Presse, the paste had been ‘transformed’ in a factory that had its licence revoked due to the “fraudulent reconditioning of its packaging”.
