A fun-filled race entitled ‘Color Run’ will be held in Faro on Saturday, September 9.
As the name suggests, colour plays an essential part, with coloured powder being sprayed onto runners throughout the four-kilometre route starting at 10am at Passeio Ribeirinho and ending at Parque das Figuras.
It costs €3 to take part with all proceeds going to help Faro’s CASA charity, which is organising the event alongside temporary employment agency Timing and the HELP21 gym.
“Besides encouraging physical exercise, this race also aims to bring people together for a common goal,” CASA says.
