TWO NIGHTCLUBS in the Algarve have collected around 600 signatures for a petition to alter the new smoking laws.
Black Jack in Vilamoura casino and Kiss in Albufeira have sent these signatures to the national nightclubs association, which is expected to receive a total of 5,000 signatures from venues across the country.
The owners of the nightclubs argue that they have the means to make spaces available to smokers without affecting non smokers.
They want to be given the choice to decide whether their facilities will be completely non-smoking or “smoking friendly”.
