Carvoeiro-based social club CASA returned to The Village Inn near Parchal for two Sunday lunches during the month of April.
The lunch was held twice due to the limited seating available “in this cosy little restaurant”.
Splitting the event over two Sundays was actually advantageous as members with other commitments were able to choose the one which best suited them – a couple of members even attended both!
CASA members described the meal as “excellent” and “beautifully served”. “Our thanks go to Kathy for all the hard work which she and her staff put into our lunches to make them such a success,” said one.
Upcoming CASA events include a wine tasting afternoon at O Barradas near Silves on May 26 and the annual barbecue at The Holiday Inn in Armação de Pêra on June 17.
