A cleanup initiative entitled ‘Vamos Limpar o Mar’ (Let’s Clean the Sea) will take place at Carvoeiro beach on Saturday (September 26) at 10am.
The event is organised by Lagoa council and Portisub diving school and is open to anyone willing to help.
Divers will clean the sea bed while volunteers will be asked to work on the beach and along nearby cliffs.
