A volunteer clean-up operation is to be held at Manta Rota beach at the entrance of the Ria Formosa natural park on October 24 and 25 to rid the area of rubbish left behind this summer.
This action, organised by the Cacela-based association Adrip, is due to start at 9am on October 24 from the western car park of Manta Rota beach and from 10am the following day with participants meeting in the centre of Cacela Velha.
Volunteers will be given gloves and plastic bags to collect the rubbish.
