Two classical concerts performed by two pianists from Lisbon will be taking place over the forthcoming New Year period.
Piano for Four Hands performed by Ana Margarida Silva and Ana Luisa Monteiro (pictured) will feature pieces by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Liszt on December 30, and on January 6 they will perform pieces by Grieg, Dvorak and Rachmaninov at the São Lourenço cultural centre.
Ana Margarida Silva currently combines teaching with being a piano accompanist at the Lisbon National Conservatory, Sintra Conservatory and Tejo National Orchestra.
In 2008, Ana Luisa Monteiro studied at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc Academy under Professor Laszlo Baranyay. She has participated in a number of master classes under several eminent pianists.
Both concerts begin at 7.30pm sharp with wine and lemonade served from 7pm.
Entry is 25 euros for guests and non-members.
