The beautiful classical sounds of the Algarve Orchestra will resonate in the Teatro das Figuras, for the official celebration of the City of Faro, on September 7. With the help and support of the Faro Municipal Theatre, as well as the câmara, the concert will begin at 10pm, with star-studded guest musicians. Austrian-born pianist Ingeborg Baldaszti, who was elected one magazine’s Artist of the Year in 1996 and has performed with some of the best orchestras in the world, will no doubt entertain the audience. The concert will also commemorate the 250-year anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s birth.
