Classical music is coming to Cacela Velha this month.
Chinese-American experimental musician Audrey Chen is the first on the stage tonight (Friday) at the Old Cemetery (Antigo Cemitério).
On August 11 it is the turn of young Portuguese artist Ruben Bettencourt on classical guitar at the church, followed by Japanese artist Naoko Kikuchi playing the Koto, a traditional stringed instrument, on August 18 at the same venue.
On August 25, pianist Joana Gama will be playing Portuguese and Oriental music at the Old Cemetery.
