Classic Irish

VISITORS PACKED the church of the Convento de Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso in Belém on Saturday for a concert of Irish classical music performed by four virtuoso musicians from Ireland.

Organised by the Irish Association, the event was a benefit concert to raise funds towards restoring the church.

Harpist Theresa O’Donnell, classical guitarist David Creevy and Dubliners John Sheahan and Michael Howard delighted the audience with their repertoire of Irish classical music and the grand finale saw all four play together.
