ALGARVE CLASSIC Cars 2005, the biggest concentration of vintage cars in the Iberian Peninsula, will be on parade throughout the region between July 22 and July 24.
Around 150 antique cars, from the 1927 to 1974 era, will participate in the 13th annual event that is as much a tourist attraction as it is a race. Among the cars on display are Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Porsches and Jaguars from Germany, France, Spain, Belgium and England.
The event begins today Friday at Vilamoura Marina at 7pm. Over the weekend the vintage models will travel through Loulé, S. Brás de Alportel, Albufeira, Portimão, Armação de Pêra, Vilamoura, and Faro. Trophies will be distributed on the final day at Vilamoura.
