Albufeira will be hosting a classic car exhibition and parade through the streets this weekend.
More than 100 classic cars of various makes, including Rolls Royce, Bentley and Mercedes, will be exhibited from 10.30am tomorrow (Saturday) along Praça dos Pescadores, Avenida 25 de Abril and Largo Engenheiro Duarte.
There will also be live music by Dixieland from 2.30pm until 3.45pm along Largo Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco and from 3.45pm until 5pm in Praça dos Pescadores.
The cars will parade through Albufeira from 11.30am on Sunday.
Luis Brito, from the Clube Português de Automóveis Antigos, the national classic cars club said: “This is the first time in Portugal that we will see the oldest car in the country exhibited, dated to 1896, as well as four vehicles from 1910 and many models from the 20s, 30s, 70s, among others.”
