Participants will be able to qualify for the “Best Car in Show” trophy

Classic car lovers will gather for the first time in Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira, on Sunday, March 26.

The first edition of the “Classics Show” will take place at the Santo Estêvão Sports Complex. During the event, visitors will be able to appreciate cars from different eras and brands, some over 60 years old, in an unprecedented event in the region.

The public will be able to get involved by voting for the “Best Car in Show” trophy, which will be rewarded with a voucher for purchases at Damascar, one of the event’s partners.

The event is organised by Associação 1597 (Associação Cultural, Recreativa e Desportiva de Santo Estêvão), a new association in the region created to give the village of Santo Estêvão and the Barrocal region a boost.

The classic car registration opens at 09:30, and the car “parade” at 10:30. Drivers will gather for snacks at 12:30, followed by a concert by the Triudos band at 14:00.

Participation and visits to the show are free.
