Cinema returned to AlgarveShopping in Guia on August 22 with nine screens presented by CINEPLACE from Grupo Orient, which plans to operate similar facilities in nine shopping centres run by Sonae Sierra.
The agreement between Sonae Sierra and Grupo Orient was announced at the beginning of this month and among cinemas re-opening will also be the one in Portimão Continente shopping centre.
Fourteen staff has been hired to work at the cinemas in AlgarveShopping and the same number of screens as before will be available.
The first session will be at 1pm on August 22 and there will also be midnight screenings on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before a public holiday.
