Algarve Network for Families in Need is helping spread festive joy among children across the region with a ‘Christmas Toy & Candy Donation’.
The idea is that anyone can donate a toy or candy at one of the network’s collection points in Lagoa, Silves, Albufeira and Almancil.
All donations will then be delivered to the children of the 400 struggling families that the network supports in the Algarve.
In Lagoa, donations can be dropped off at the Pingo Doce supermarket between 11am and noon on Wednesdays.
The drop-off point in Silves will be the Continente supermarket, also between 11am and noon on Wednesdays.
Further east in Albufeira, toys and candy can be left at the Fat Cat Bar whenever it is open or at Intermarché supermarket in Ferreiras between 11.30am and 12.30pm this Friday (December 11).
Last but not least, The Works Print Shop is the collection point in Almancil. Donations can be dropped off whenever it is open.
