The magical spirit of Christmas has truly arrived at Forum Algarve which officially started its celebrations on November 12.
Visitors were delighted by the arrival of Santa, the opening of the Christmas Village and the popular ice rink at the shopping centre’s central square.
The event also marked the launch of the latest edition of a series of books going by the name Livro do Gui (Gui’s Book).
Entitled ‘À Descoberta de Portugal’, the book is the inspiration for this year’s Christmas Village, where some of Portugal’s most iconic monuments have been recreated and where Santa will be meeting younger visitors.
Each edition of the book will be handed out with a map of Portugal, with the goal being to collect every monument and important character from Portugal’s history. Every weekend a different set of monuments and characters will be handed out for free (but limited to the available stock).
