Christmas lunch for international community

The Expat Centre Portugal is holding a “Christmas Eat n’ Meet Lunch” for the international community on Sunday, December 12, at Restaurant Bica Velha in Loulé, at 1pm.

The organisation aims to help newcomers in Portugal integrate into the local community and “create a feeling of belonging”.

Founder Ria van Doorn said: “The lunch is an excellent opportunity to expand your network and make new friends, while enjoying delicious food and drinks.”

The menu features Hot Lumumba and Bolo Rei among other things, but also traditional Christmas roasted Iberian pork tenderloin with chestnuts, gravy and rosemary, or festive vegetarian nut roast with mixed nuts and fruits.

Price per person is €28.50. Non-members are also welcome for an additional fee of €5 per person.
