FARO CÂMARA has announced that the Christmas lights in the city will be switched on tomorrow (Saturday) and will remain until January 7 2009.
This year there will be even more streets involved in the illuminations, 77 in total, using more than 800,000 bulbs at a cost of 140,000 euros.
The main streets in Faro to view the decorations and illuminations will be Rua de Santo António, Rua D. Francisco Gomes, Jardim Manuel Bivar and Praça de Pontinha.
