The spirit of Christmas is alive in Olhão, with several events planned to mark the festive season.
A living nativity scene is being inaugurated on December 8 at Largo da Restauração at 3pm with a team of actors recreating the birth of baby Jesus daily until January 6.
During the festive season, shop windows will also be displaying nativity scenes created by pre-primary school children.
From December 15 until January 6, a Christmas fair along Avenida da República will be displaying the work of local artisans.
