More than 350 euros was raised for charity during a Christmas flowers demonstration evening organised by British residents Margaret and Maurice Walton on December 9.
Following the demonstration, entitled Flowers for the home at Christmas, at the Almancil community centre, where Margaret showed participants how to make a variety of festive arrangements as well as door wreathes and decorated crackers, all of the items were raffled. The funds raised during the evening were donated to the Almancil community centre and the All Saints Anglican church.
