THE INTERNATIONAL Evangelical Church of the Algarve in Vale Judeu, on the EN125 near Vilamoura, celebrates Christmas this year with two special services.
The traditional Christmas Eve Service on Saturday will start at 7pm. Over the years, this special celebration has become well-known in the Algarve for its carols and readings around the candlelit Christmas tree and the life-size stable. It is advisable to come early if you wish to find a seat. After the service, everyone will be invited for a drink and a snack, typically from the home countries of our church family.
On Christmas Day at 10.30am, the birth of Christ will be celebrated with a programme of carols and poems.
