OLHÂO’S IGREJA Matriz will be opening its doors for one of the borough’s most special evenings of the year today (December 22), at 9.30pm, when nationally acclaimed choir, Choral Phydellius, will be giving a Christmas concert.
This annual free concert, organised by Olhão Câmara, is always well attended and boasts a very traditional and emotive Christmas atmosphere.
This year, Olhão Câmara has invited Choral Phydellius from Torres Novas (near Lisbon) to perform some of the most beautiful songs in their repertoire, including some classic Christmas melodies, as well as various traditional Portuguese songs.
