Preparations are underway for the annual Christmas Fair at the Vilamoura International School to be held on Saturday, November 24, from 10am to 3.30pm. It will feature various stalls selling food, books, toys, crafts as well as entertainment for all ages.
This event is also an opportunity to raise funds for charity as part of the school’s bid to promote “human values and a better world”.
Father Christmas will arrive at the school at 11am bringing cheer to all the children and providing a photo opportunity. There will also be activities such as face painting and drawing, music, the popular barbecue and many more surprises.
This year, proceeds will be distributed among the social canteen in Quarteira, which provides daily meals to hundreds of people, Big Hand, an institution that provides healthcare, food, education and shelter to Mozambican children through sponsorship, and Mariana Afonso Rita, Miriam a Pequena Guerreira and Causa Simão.
