Following on from the success of last year’s event, the 3 Charities Christmas Market returns to Vale do Lobo on Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4.
The event combines a luxury lifestyle Christmas gift market with a gourmet food and wine area, allowing visitors to shop, eat, drink and generally be merry, tasting and buying a range of delicious offerings from some of the Algarve’s and the Alentejo’s leading restaurants and suppliers of speciality food and wine.
There will also be a wide selection of stalls selling high quality Christmas gifts, including fashion items and accessories, soft furnishings and ideas for the home, cosmetics, art, craftwork, flowers, toys, cards, books and much more.
Open from 11.30am until 5.30pm on both days, other activities include children’s entertainment, singers, choirs and fashion shows in the main auditorium.
An entrance fee/charity contribution of €3 will be charged, with every visitor given a raffle ticket on entry. Additional tickets can be purchased on the day, with a host of prizes on offer.
All entrance fees will go directly to three local charities, representatives of which will be present on the weekend to talk about the work they do within the local community.
The three charities benefitting from the event will be the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, which provides support and finance to numerous needy causes in the Vale do Lobo area, AOA, which fights against cancer and provides support to oncology patients in the Algarve and Centre Algarve, Europe’s first specialist holiday centre for special needs and disabled people, due to open the end of 2012 in Moncarapacho.
