FARO’S SPECIALIST College for physically and mentally disabled children and young adults with special educational needs has organised a Christmas bazaar which will run daily from December 1 until Christmas Eve.
The bazaar will be open on the shopping street of Rua de Santo António in Faro with a range of gifts, ornaments, books and more with the money raised reverting directly to the college.
A commercial space was donated to open the bazaar by the Clube Farense football club.
“Next year will also mark the 40th anniversary of the Associação Algarvia de Pais e Amigos de Crianças Diminuidas Mentais, AAPACDM, a special association of parents and friends in Faro that supports mentally handicapped children,” said Susan Kelly, a British parent on the college committee.
