Chris Brown sentenced for attack on Rihanna

American singer Chris Brown has been sentenced to six months’ community labour for his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The 20-year-old singer was sentenced in Los Angeles on August 25 and must clean graffiti and wash cars for his vicious assault on singing star Rihanna.

Chris agreed a plea bargain after being charged with felony assault, meaning he would plead guilty in return for no jail time. He also received five years probation and was ordered to go to domestic violence classes for a year.

During the court case, Chris said he had witnessed violence as a child and wanted to ensure he didn’t carry on that cycle.

He also said he had apologised to Rihanna several times.
