Local resident and experienced choirmaster John Watts has volunteered to help a group of 25 British residents from the village of Almadena near Lagos who have set up an English-language choir.
The group is now looking for more members to sing as well as someone who can accompany the choir on the keyboard.
Choir member Phil Eggington said: “We are working towards initially two concerts per year. Anyone is welcome to come along and we are particularly interested in local people from Almadena, Burgau, Luz, Espiche and the surrounding area to come along and join in.”
