Organisers of the Midsummer Cocktail variety show to be held at the Lagoa Auditorium on June 20 have announced new acts for the evening in aid of Lagoa voluntary Bombeiros.
Two Algarve choirs, the Lagoa-based Coral Ideas do Levante and Tavira-based women’s barber shop quartet Bella A Cappela will be performing at the event, which starts at 8.30pm.
A raffle will provide attendees with the chance to win a luxury hamper full of goodies and meals at several restaurants including L’Orange in Praia de Carvoeiro, The Village Inn in Mexilhoeira da Carregaçao and Portarade in Ferragudo.
Those wishing to help underprivileged people in the council can do so by taking along non-perishable food items that will then be distributed by the Social Services to several local needy families.
