Dear Editor, In the last issue, Roger Turner asked why there are so many Chinese retail shops in Portugal.
I got told by Portuguese people that because of a treaty regarding Macao, Chinese people have a tax-free period in Portugal.
Mostly, when it is over, they pass the shop to a relative to enjoy another period and so on.
