Vilamoura || Students from Kindergarten and Primary School at the Vilamoura International School (CIV) will be able to attend Chinese lessons in the next academic year.
Both parents and students are welcome to attend these classes as part of an extracurricular activity, said the school.
The school said: “In the current context and taking into account that Chinese is amongst the highest ranked spoken languages in the world (with an estimated 1.384 million speakers), an academic background for multilingualism is an essential foundation and will be a distinguishing feature for future generations in a global market place.”
