Around 800 schoolchildren will come together to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1) in the Jardim das Comunidades in the centre of Almancil.
The fun-filled party will start at 10am when youngsters from Almancil schools, accompanied by their teachers, arrive at the event and take part in activities, from air bungee jumping and bouncy castles to karaoke, face painting, juggling, theatre and dance.
The children will be provided with lunch and water.
In the afternoon, after 4pm, families will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of entertainment as there will be dance shows, sports challenges and zumba classes.
ACCA, the Algarve charity supporting underprivileged children, has joined APEE, Doina Algarve, ASCA and other social solidarity causes to organise this important event designed to bring a smile to young faces.
