Children develop post-Covid syndrome four weeks after infection

10 Portuguese children developed post-Covid inflammatory syndrome roughly four weeks after testing positive for the virus. With very little trickling through on the benefits of taking Vitamin D to ward off the worst in Covid-19 infections, doctors are now warning of the dangers of an intense exercise regime as the effects of the virus reduce. They seem to have linked intense exercise with the 10 children who developed Multi Systemic Inflammatory Syndrome. All the children were treated at Lisbon’s Santa Maria Hospital and have recovered. But the advice to parents of children developing Covid-19 now is for exercise regimes to be returned to “with caution and under medical advice”.
