A grand Christmas raffle organised by Algarve children’s charity ACCA was held on December 22 at Quinta Jacintina near Vale do Lobo.
Raffle winner was May Brown, who took home a 42” Panasonic television, courtesy of CPD Sound and Vision.
Carol singing was provided by The Algarve Juniors, who gave the evening a real Christmas feel. ACCA distributed more than 1,400 presents donated through the local Angels Scheme to children in need and various institutions over the Christmas period.
A spokesman for ACCA said: “The thanks of all the children and ACCA committee goes to everyone who made this possible and the companies and individuals who gave so generously to the raffle and other Christmas activities.”
