Child safety

FARO GNR have started stopping vehicles to check that children are being correctly and safely transported.

A spokesman for Faro GNR said that although many awareness campaigns have been carried out, statistics still show that most children and teenagers who are victims of accidents were not wearing their seatbelts.

Drivers are now being alerted by the GNR for the need to obey the Highway Code regulations, especially the use of safety accessories such as seatbelts and chairs for children.
