A STUDY has revealed that Amadora and Loures are the two councils in Lisbon with the highest percentage of children living in improvised dwellings and council housing.

The Lisbon-based socio-economic study looked at the cases of more than 5,000 children aged between seven and 12.

Amadora and Loures had the highest percentages of single parent families and large families as well as lower levels of adult education and professional qualifications.
