TRAVEL COMPANY Thomson is launching a childfree cruising experience, offering some of the cruises on its less mainstream routes to adults only from next year.
Their ship, The Calypso, which can accommodate just under 500 passengers, will be offering a childfree itinerary to customers choosing to cruise around the Black Sea from Spring 2007. The on-board entertainment will also reflect the more mature approach to the cruise – the usual family entertainment shows are to be replaced with repertory theatre and drama, with a line-up of guest lecturers, lifestyle classes and even classical concerts.
